Gateway's most popular disc of any kind, the Wizard is a true, stable workhorse putter. The Wizard holds whatever line you throw it on with very little fade during its drop, and is also a great putter in windy conditions. The Wizard handles controlled power very well, thus makes an excellent choice off the tee for mid-range drives, in addition to upshots. The Wizard is a very consistent and accurate disc that should find its way into your bag.
Plastic: Special Blend - See all Special Blend Discs
Gateway often samples materials that are sent to them by suppliers that are either entirely new components or additives to their existing blends. Gateway started labeling special blends after several years of running them with the first being SB-6 and are now up to SB-30. These prototype batches range in quantities from 60 to 300 discs. Unfortunately it’s not always possible to recreate the runs due to their experimental nature. The current blend of SB-30 is something Gateway can recreate and could end up becoming the final Special Blend.
Stamp: Stock
This is the standard, or stock, stamp for this mold in this plastic, at this time. Stock stamps change from time to time as manufacturers attempt to keep their offerings fresh.
This represents our 'back stock' inventory, some of which may have not yet been photographed or published. If it shows as 'Out of Stock' that may only be because we have already photographed all the discs of this type that we have and pushed them to the site. Treeshaker I’d give it a 6 if I could. Goes where it’s thrown. Straight as an arrow if flat, but will also hook very nice with hyzer/anyhyzer. I really like the Super Soft feel. If you like really soft putters the Super Stupid Silly Soft is really nice too! Great for turbo putting also. Get one, or two, you won’t regret it!
