Plastic: Champion - See all Champion Discs
Our Champion Line is produced with hi-tech plastic that provides outstanding performance and durability. Champion discs are distinguished by a clear or pearlescent plastic that retains original flight characteristics for an extended period of time. Whether used in heavily wooded situations, or on extremely rugged courses, Champion Line plastic will continue to perform predictably and avoid damage.
Stamp: Stock
This is the standard, or stock, stamp for this mold in this plastic, at this time. Stock stamps change from time to time as manufacturers attempt to keep their offerings fresh.
Have around 400ft of power and wanted a new understable driver for smooth turnovers and right-finishing flights. I certainly do not have the best form, but I found myself constantly burning the disc into the ground and the flight ending in a cut roller, the only way I can throw it to finish how I want is if I throw it 50%. Design and hand feel are obviously great but for an 11 6 -2 2 disc, I thought it was way too understable, especially for it being in halo plastic.
I purchased 2 Star Mysteres, 167g each, and they are solid 11 speed, 6 glide drivers. Slightly understable, they flip to straight with a little left turn when thrown on a forehand hyzer. They don't dump on a level or slight anhyzer on a forehand. They will absorb a lot of forehand torque and they glide forever. I bag the Mystere for that straight gap shot or a moderately long, straight fairway where you don't want a hard fade to finish.
I just picked up my second one. the first one i got was at 167g and is a fun disc to throw. i keep both in my bag. lots of movement. can work tree groves like no ones businesses. i loved the way this disc flew but i wanted to throw it a little harder from the box. i picked up a max weight Mystere and i love it. great hyzer flip disc. out of the box this Gstar plastic is amazing. can manipulate the Mystere to do a wide range of movements. in my opinion its very similar to the Gstar Tern. (also a great under stable disc) get yourself one. people will ask, "what disc is that?!"
