Mold: The Innova Beast Distance Driver in Gstar Plastic -- Speed: 10 | Glide: 5 | Turn: -2 | Fade: 2
See all Beasts
The Beast was issued in the era of the wide rimmed driver. It was an instant classic when it was released, giving players more distance using less power. The Beast's high glide, high speed and high speed turn all combine to give big distance. It is suitable for beginners and pros alike. The Champion Beast is endorsed by two-time World Champion Barry Schultz.
Plastic: Gstar - See all Gstar Discs
GStar is a blend of Innova's Star plastic that adds flexibility and even more grip. GStar is opaque like Star, but features a pearlescent sheen. Their allure is only surpassed by their beautiful flight. GStar discs have a smooth, gradual transition in flight and the same durability as the Star line. You can think of it as a grippier and flexier cousin of the Stars. Those are real words right? GStar is the best disc plastic for winter play. When the temperature drops and the air dries out it becomes more difficult to hold on to those discs. You end up with slip outs and an early release unless you start changing up your form. With the GStar plastic which is grippier and flexier you can maintain that same grip you had on your Stars even with your cold dry hands. Now you won't have to change up your form as much and you can practice or compete all winter long. The flexible plastic also keeps cold discs from cracking or breaking. I've never hit a tree myself but I've heard it can be hard on a cold disc.
Stamp: Stock Character
This is the standard, or stock, stamp for this mold in this plastic, at this time. Stock stamps change from time to time as manufacturers attempt to keep their offerings fresh.
Every fall it seems like I need a new glow driver. This year I went with a beast again. It flies slightly more stable then the regular Beast I bag. Thank you DZ
This is a great straight flying disc for the price.
Good beginner distance and mid-range shots. Nice stamp. Novice beats up this plastic easily.
It took me a little bit of time to figure this disk out but now I love it. When thrown at the right angle the turn and fade can weave through some pretty difficult terrain. I recommend this disc for mid/long fairway or wooded courses.
I have been using this disc for as long as I can remember and it can do whatever you want it to do. Super versatile.
This is one of my favorite distance drivers, good in the wind too.
Champion Beast - 167g. The beast is a great intro disc for players looking to start using distance drivers. The beast is fairly comfortable in hand and one of the most forgiving distance drivers for newer players. A bit more overstable than the flight numbers indicate. Recommend star or champion plastic.
