River has taken the market by storm and is a disc with THE GLIDE. It's easy to throw and fits most player's power and skill levels. River is a fairway control driver and while it's not the fastest disc Latitude 64 has made, and doesn't have the widest wing ever made, it is a disc for accurate driving and good control. With small fade and amazing glide, you can really let it fly on to those big anhyzer curves.

The mid 80s was a great time. Disc Golf had just come all the way up to Latitude 64 and we played all through the night in the midnight sun. Translucent discs were far from being invented and all discs were understable with today's standards. We remember those days with nostalgic feelings and wanted a plastic that would remind us of how it used to be. For a long time we have had requests that we should make discs that could be broken in more easily. Test after test after test led us to this new plastic blend that we have named Retro.
Stamp: Stock
This is the standard, or stock, stamp for this mold in this plastic, at this time. Stock stamps change from time to time as manufacturers attempt to keep their offerings fresh.
This represents our 'back stock' inventory, some of which may have not yet been photographed or published. If it shows as 'Out of Stock' that may only be because we have already photographed all the discs of this type that we have and pushed them to the site. Ken -.D. I love the River. This is the disc I throw when I want a very precise shot, and the range is too far for an approach disc. My nick name for this disc is the "long range Buzzz". The river will give me a predictable slight hyzer (curved) flight path over the entire flight, with only 5-10 feet of side to side action. This lets me throw it down tight fairways bordered by trees. The high glide on this disc gets me some extra range without using excessive power that could decease my accuracy.
I have this disc in three different plastics. Opto, Golw, and Opto-X, Each of these is progressively more stiff/stable. This allows me to get the same flight path in different wind conditions just by changing the plastic.
