The DGA Tempest distance driver has exceptional glide and control and is a staple driver for any disc golfers arsenal for drives requiring pinpoint accuracy on even the longest holes. For advanced players, the Tempest will generate predictable high-speed turns plus lots of glide with an added understable finish. Newer players will more easily gain increased distance and longer drives not readily attainable with most distance drivers.
Plastic: Proline - See all Proline Discs
DGA ProLine plastic is one of two premium plastic blends from DGA. ProLine plastic is tough, tacky, and has incredible performance. The ProLine plastic blend features increased marbling, pearling, and overall aesthetic appeal. This blend is recommended for players that are looking for increased grip and durability, balanced with high-performance flight qualities. The tempest shocked me in many ways when I threw it for the first time. It had one of the nicest hyzer flips I had ever seen. A definite bomber for anyone. It’s one of those discs that you can always trust to give you those straight 350+ft tunnel shots through tight gaps. The proline plastic also feels amazing and is extremely durable in my experience. It’s taken a bunch of tree hits off drives and the tree often comes out with more damage than the disc. Will definitely be checking out the other DGAs just for this plastic blend.
