Longview Disc Golf Course

Located just outside of Ozawkie Kansas, Longview Disc Golf Course is one of the premier 18 hole tracts the state has to offer. Featuring a compelling mixture of steep hills and wooded holes ranging in distance and elevation, Longview deserves a spot on anyone’s list of courses to play, especially if you are looking for a fun and challenging round.

Designed by Kent Bryan and established in 2013 at the Longview Public Use Area, the course features views of Perry Lake coupled with a scenic hike throughout the layout. Each hole has a concrete tee pad and a sign listing the pin locations and distances. Less experienced players and people playing for the first time may want to include someone with prior course experience to help navigate the course and to get a sense for where each pin is positioned, especially on the longer holes.

While the course can be challenging and daunting, most who have played at Longview would agree it is one of the best courses in Kansas. Even players visiting from out of state will consistently rank it as one of their favorites. In short, if you are getting serious about disc golf or are looking for the best courses Kansas has to offer, you should make the drive to Longview.
